The People WHo Make Up Access Mont Blanc
Meet The Access Mont Blanc Team

Michele (Mitch) Webb
Mitch is the President of Access Mont Blanc. An ex-RAF fast-jet pilot, she moved to the Alps in 2011 with her young family seeking adventure.
Now a self-employed maths tutor she regularly competes in Ultra Endurance Marathons and Triathlons and enjoys all mountain sports.
Mitch believes the mountains are great healers of the human spirit and an ideal medium for rehabilitation of the mind and body.
She is determined to make the mountains more accessible so everyone can benefit from the majestic scenery, adventure and opportunity to rediscover life.

Rebecca McNeillie
Rebecca moved to France, Les Houches in 2005 and has since had 2 children here. Having started in the hospitality business and owning a catered chalet operation she now manages privately owned properties in the area.
Being passionate about outdoor activities and enjoying the mountain trails for running, Chamonix is the perfect location for her and her family to live.
Rebecca (Bex) is Deputy Chair to Access Mont Blanc and is enthusiastic to increase the opportunities for people with disabilities to further enjoy the mountains and the sports available here.

Lindsay Day
Lindsay is Secretary to Access Mont Blanc, where she is a member of the Management Commitee and responsible for liaison with activity providers for the Mountain Festival.
She volunteered to work for Access Mont Blanc to be involved in community projects that aim to improve access to the Mountain environment and mountain sports, for people with disabilities.
Lindsay moved to France in 2012 and has been living permanently in Chamonix since 2015. She is a full-time mother and enjoys furniture restoration. Lindsay is an enthusiastic trail runner, ski tourer and hiker.

Charlotte Elsworth-Edelsten
Charlotte moved to Chamonix in 2007, where she lives with her 3 children and husband.
She is the Treasurer for Access Mont Blanc.
Charlotte is a clinical researcher and private practitioner in Sleep Medicine and Human Movement Science (www.charlotteedelsten.com).
She runs a sleep clinic in Chamonix, where she advises, assesses, diagnoses and treats individuals with a wide range of sleep problems and disorders. Charlotte is particularly interested in the cognitive and health-related impairment we suffer directly resulting from disturbed sleep.
She is a very keen runner so when she isn’t working in the sleep and human performance world you will most likely find her running round the mountains in Chamonix.

Amanda Jolivet
The first time I saw the mountains of Chamonix was 51 years ago…. Truth be told, I was born in Chamonix. I spent part of my life hiking, skiing, and enjoying these wonderful mountains.
Victim of a stroke at the age of 39 and hemiplegic, I have since learned to contemplate them from below.
Even my work has to do with the mountains since I am in charge of reception at the crystal museum in Chamonix.
It suffices to say that my attachment to these mountains is visceral.
Access Mont-Blanc allows people like me, with disabilities to access new mountain adventures independently. For me, “where the head goes the body goes”.
I have therefore been a volunteer at Accès Mont-Blanc since 2022.

Georgie Day
Georgie Day is a documentary photographer and filmmaker. She was raised among the mountains of Chamonix Mont Blanc in France.
She joined Access Mont Blanc during their first Tour du Mont Blanc expedition in 2021. She takes care of AMB’s media.
Her short documentary, Limitless from that first expedition is available on our website.
