About Us

Having a disability shouldn’t stop you experiencing the adventure and exhilaration of hiking in the mountains. Our expeditions aim to find safe paths for wheelchair users in the Pays du Mont Blanc region.

About The Expeditions

We are hoping to organise 2 expeditions.

The first will be at the end of June or beginning of July during which we are hoping to prove a highly accessible TMB  option for those with severe mobility issues.  We will use an all terrain electric wheelchair with a chin control for this trip.  Accommodation will be in gites or hotels, depending on accessibility and cost. If you wish to take part in this expedition please email us; you can of course bring a carer with you.

The second will be later in July during which we want to explore other more technical but accessible trail options for the guide book in the wider Pays du Mont Blanc area.  This will probably involve camping, to keep costs down, so if you would like to take part please bear that in mind before you apply!

The route might change – it is an exploration and so likely to change to find favorable terrain. The aspirational route is overlayed in the image above.
